MTA partnered with SW Hills Baptist Church to hold their first
Fall CARnival trunk or treat.
Our plan was to have five outreach booths covering different
aspects of God's character and the gospel.
It turned out to be a very rainy night. Everything was moved
indoors, the booths became tables, and all went well.
The following is a note the church received from one the mom's
who attended:
Just wanted to reiterate what a wonderful presentation SW Hills
church made last night! What a light to the community
around the church!
I was just looking through Jeremy's goody bag and am so blessed
by all the biblical material that was in with all the candy!
If a child came into the church who had never been presented with
the gospel of Jesus Christ, that child has now been exposed through
the excellent reading material, the Biblical materials and quizzes
spread throughout the church and MOST importantly the LOVE and
JOY expressed by all the volunteers running the program.
I know it was a lot of work, but all the workers were genuinely
joyful and engaged. What a testimony to the peace and love
of Christ to this tired worn out worried world.
God bless you both for your work in God's kingdom!
Blessings,
