Why Can We See Light From Distant Stars
(This is a bonus track from the
Age Of The Earth DVD)
The question is:
If stars are millions (billions) of light years away, meaning that it
takes millions of years for the light from those stars to get here,
if the universe is only a few thousand years old, how can we see that
star light?
The answer:
There are a number of theories that are scientifically sound. One, presented
in the Age Of The Earth video
is based on gravitational time dilation. Another, in this video, states
that the stars were never intended to be
a way to measure time. The purpose of the stars is to declare the glory
of God.
God created an unimaginably vast universe filled with celestial objects,
not as a clock, but to show His power and glory.
