Hillsboro St. Patrick's DAy Parade Evangelism

On a rainy Saturday a light turnout for the parade turns into a wonderful day for evangelism. We started by handing out tracts in the parade assembly area. It is usually a great place to meet people and have many wonderful conversations.

Sharing tracts with parade participants Sharing the gospel in the rain
Team Of Two Shares The Gospel

A team of five people, from two churches, came out in the rain to share the gospel with participants and spectators of the Hillsboro St. Patrick's Day Parade in 2011.

Rain or shine the million dollar bill tract (with the million dollar question on the back - "What happens after you die?") was as popular as ever. I was teamed with a Spanish speaking Christian (wearing the orange jacket) so we could share the gospel in either English or Spanish.

"For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek." - Romans 1:16

Notice the smiles (far right)

Above: Notice the woman on the far right has a big smile. The million dollar bill gospel tract
is fun to shasre with people and almost always brings big smiles.

Below: People do read the gospel message on the back of the million dollar bill. So eventhose who do not talk
with us read the gospel. This tract leads them to evaluate whether they have broken God's laws;
to understand what the penalty is; and know the fact the
jesus died to pay that penalty on their behalf.
